Technical Post: Curling

Curling

-Working from the top of a section of hair take a small section of the hair and clip in the curling iron.

-Twist the curling tongs up towards the root of the hair.

-Hold the tongs for about 12 seconds and then loosen the grip of the tongs and twist the hair out. Always make sure your model is comfortable as you are working with high heat and do not want to burn your model.

-To create a pincurl, you should then roll the hair back into a tight flat curl. You can then use a hair grip to hold the pin curl in place at the root.

-Leave the hair to set for as long as possible and spray with hairspray before removing all the

hair grips.
